Ridza organised a farewell dinner for Kenny and Timothy at Cafe Vienna in Royal Plaza on Scotts Hotel. A total of 8 (Mdm Seetoh, Ms Emily, Ms Huipheng, Kenny, Timothy, Clev, Ridza and myself) of us attended this farewell function. All of us had a great time enjoying the scrumptious food and conversations we shared with one another. This is really memorable. I don’t mind reliving the moment again.
Many unpleasant things had happened at work and they had affected me. I was pretty discouraged and had low morale. For a long time, I had this feeling that going to work was a chore. I could not sleep properly at night and I woke up earlier than usual. Ironically, no matter how dreadful I felt going to work, I reported to work earlier than usual too.
What happened today allowed me to remember those good memories I shared with my colleagues at work. Gossiping (a norm), joking and teasing one another … Style sia (quoting Kenny’s IN phrase - a phrase he kept using now)! I also remembered why, for a period, I really enjoyed going to work!
Taking this opportunity to send out my gratitude to the following peeps,
THANK YOU RIDZA for your effort in organizing an event like this for our good 2 chaps! Without you, nothing would have been accomplished. Sorry for not helping much as I was pretty “disturbed” by you know what and it shall not be mentioned.
THANK YOU MS CHUA for buying the card and allowing me to write a message which I screwed up to Kenny.
THANK YOU TIMOTHY for always helping me with my work. I sincerely wished you all the best in your new working environment. Take care! Hope to meet up with you when you are back and keep in touch!
THANK YOU KENNY for making my stay at S1 Br meaningful and enjoyable. I can always remember my first day at S1 Br! Thanks for guiding me and helping me through this phase of my life. A BIG THANK YOU for everything you have done for me and for the branch. Wish you all the best in your future endeavours!

I would like to say that all these people I had mentioned above have made my stay in S1 Br very fun and I have experienced a different “homely” environment. THANK YOU ALL!

I found out that I have been promoted to CORPOREAL today! Hurray!
